The 3rd Monthly Meeting was held on 12th May, 2002 and was attended by a big number of members and their guests. The Chairman reviewed the activities of the 6th Forum of The Arab Business Society that was held in Damascus in April 2002 at which BBMA presented a working paper. Then, the issue of rising insurance costs after September 11 events was discussed with Mr. Nabil Al Khatab.
BBMA member Mr. Bharat Jashanmal put forward a suggestion for formation of a training committee for training Bahraini Middle managers. Later, the Chairman announced culties created by the Kingdom’s authorities and their impact on the private sector. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr. John Lubbe, Bapco Chief Executive who spoke about Bapco’s relationship with the private sector and how to benefit such relationship.
