Meeting With HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa

On Thursday 26th June 2013, His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of cooperation between public and private sectors in order to maintain Bahrain's strong economic position, and to continue collaborative efforts to build upon the strong, solid base that exists for Bahrain to achieve high levels of regional and international competitiveness. His Royal Highness noted that this is the responsibility of all Bahrainis, and that all have a role to play and stand to benefit from these efforts.

His Royal Highness outlined that it is our role is to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to support entrepreneurs across the different business sectors. In this regard, His Royal Highness called for all efforts to be further integrated in order to continue to improve the business environment in Bahrain, and assist in the promotion of the Kingdom.

His Royal Highness also highlighted the importance of attracting further investment opportunities, which will contribute to Bahrain's economic and business standing.

His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of the Bahraini workforce, noting their wide-ranging skills and commercial acumen. He also noted the need for swift and supportive decision making to support business and benefit the economy.

Finally, His Royal Highness wished the Board of Directors success in bringing greater prosperity to the business sector in Bahrain which will benefit wider society.

On behalf of the BBMA, Mr Al Moayad thanked His Royal Highness for the opportunity to meet and for his continued support to entrepreneurs and wider commerce in Bahrain.
