On 11th October 2007, BBMA members led by Mr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Almoayed were received by H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court who briefed the latter on the future steps and programmes BBMA is seeking to implement represented by providing services and facilities to traders and businessmen and supporting trade and economic projects that yield positive returns to the private sector. His Excellency expressed the appreciation of His Majesty of their efforts in developing the trade and economic sectors in the country.

He also stressed the vital role played by businessmen in supporting the national economy and investment projects that are beneficial to the country and citizens.
