On 2nd July 2006 BBMA Chairman Mr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Almoayed held a meeting with a high-level Jordanian delegation led by H.E. Dr. Mahmood Abu Hamoor (former Minister) Chairman of the Privatization Executive Authority in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. During the meeting, a number of projects to be privatized in Jordan were discussed and the hope was expressed for involvement of Bahraini investors in such opportunities. He underlined the positive nature of such investments especially in view of the Free Trade Agreement between Jordan and the US which significantly contributed to the success of Jordanian investments. Views were also exchanged about prospects of joint investments between the two countries and the problems that obstruct the development of cooperation.
