On 10th June 2006 the Bahraini side on the Bahraini-Turkish Business Council led by Mr. Khalid Abdul Rahman Almoayed held a luncheon in honour of the Turkish delegation consisting of Mr. Osama Coskun, Chairman of the Turkish side and a number of the Turkish members of the said Council. During the luncheon, several issues related to economic co-operation between the two countries were discussed. The delegation held a number of meetings attended by the BBMA’s Chairman, the most important of which was the meetings with the Minister of Industry & Commerce H.E. Dr. Hasan Abdulla Fakhro and Minister of State and Chairman of the National Oil and Gas Authority Dr. Abdul Husain bin Ali Mirza to review topics related to economic and trade issues and to seek to develop relations in various spheres. The Bahraini side held a similar meeting with the Turkish side on the Council at a luncheon held by BBMA on 25th January 2007.
